Amber Weather Warning

Important: Amber Weather Warning and Possible Impact on School Arrangements

We have been informed by the Local Authority and The Met Office that an Amber Weather Warning will be in effect from midday tomorrow, due to forecasts of heavy rain and potential flooding. This may lead to disruption including hazardous travel conditions, localised flooding, and possible interruptions to essential services. As a precaution, we are currently reviewing transport and end-of-day arrangements to ensure the safety of all pupils and staff. At present, no changes have been made to the school day, but we are prepared to respond swiftly should conditions deteriorate. If severe weather does arrive, we may implement an early closure to allow safe travel home. Should this be necessary, we will communicate promptly via email with instructions for collection. We understand that some parents and carers may prefer to collect their child(ren) early as a precaution. If you choose to do so, please contact the school office. The safety and wellbeing of our school community remain our highest priority. Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we monitor the situation closely.
